Do I need the JRE to run a Java app bundled with Jar Bundler on MAC OS X Snow Leopard.?

I wrote and compiled a Java *.jar file. I used Jar Bundler on OS X to create a Mac *.app file. Do I still need the JRE to run the *.app file. The resource folder in the *.app package contains the .jar file.
