Computer science question.

Question about Computer Science courses!?!?

  • Question about Computer Science courses!?!? Question about Computer Science courses!?!? In my school, they provide 5 courses in the field of Computer Science. They inculde: Computer Science I --- Designing Technology Solutions --- Honors, Computer Science II G/T, Computer Science III AP G/T, Computer Science IV G/T, and Advanced Object Oriented Design G/T. In my booklet, it says that the prerequisite for Computer Science I is Algebra I. However, Computer Science II G/T also says that the prerequisite for it is Algebra I. So does this mean I don't need to take Computer Science. It says you can take another technology education credit which I'm doing now; Foundations of Technology. Does Foundations of tech class teach the things I need for Computer Science II??

  • Answer:

Depends on the school. Some schools will allow you to take Comp Sci II so long as you can prove that you have knowledge in Comp Sci I. Mathematics is a prerequisite because Comp Sci does and can use a lot of mathematics. Check with your adviser and see what you can get worked out. That's really all you can do to find out.
