How to restrict access to a sql server database from Azure?

HELP PLEASE PLEASE SQL DATABASE SERVER WON'T WORK?

Unable to connect to server <SQL Server Instance Name>: Server: Msg 17, Level 16, State 1 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]SQL Server does not exist or access denied. The message I get when I try to start the server I want to start my own Gunz private server I have a walk though how to do it and this is all that's stopping me please help asap! I have Microsoft SQL Server 2005 installed on my computer is there anything I can do to fix it with out restarting everything please please help! Thanks David
