How to add a column header to the dynamic table?

In word i have a table of 3 columns, and want text in 3rd column to stay next to text in middle colum?

  • in word i have a table of 3 columns, In the middle (widest) column i have a large body of text over several pages. in the 3rd column (on the right) I have made text entries next to places of relevance in the middle column. But when i add text to the middle column all of my entries in the 3rd column are then misaligned. Is there any way to stop that? i need to link entries in the 3rd column to specific words or lines in the second column so that it follows it really. thanks for any help.

  • Answer:

    Use multiple rows to keep the two columns' entries aligned. Hope that helps.

Other answers

You have to create a ROW break at the point where you want to enter a comment

As you are already using a table, why don't you use it properly? Just split the third column into separate rows, then the text in the second column will always align.

align="left"
