How to dynamically load an image in Crystal 9?

My TABLE-BASED HTML page looks crappy loading one image at a time. How can I make the images load all at once?

• I created my web page using Dreamweaver, and it looks pretty swell, but when it loads each image pops onto the screen at different times. I'd much rather that the images stay invisible until the entire page has loaded, and then display the complete page all at once. Is this possible using tables, or do I need to learn how to do it in flash or something similar? My connection is great (~5mbps avg) and the 15 images are really small, under 100kb each. I don't notice this happening in most other web pages, so I must be doing something wrong. Thanks!

  Well it's not as bad as in the old dial up days, but unless you pre-load your images then you can't. The most common use for that is/was for rollover graphics so you didn't have to wait for the rollover image to download. This may help you do what you're after: http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/images/preloading.html Of course pre-loading your images will make your page load a little slower initially, so you've got a trade off either way.
