Any way to make your own website template?

How to Make a Website Using Adobe Creative Suite?

  • How can I make a website using Adobe Creative Suite 5. I just bought the whole program, with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Flash, etc. I know basic for most of these programs but want to know how I can utilize them all to make a website exactly how I want it to look and act. I know dreamweaver has templates but I want free-rain to make and create my site to how i want it to look. Is there any other programs in Adobe CS5 to create websites easier with more creativity or do I have to just create things in photoshop and other programs and implement to a dreamweaver template or website project. Any input, help, suggestions, links, tutorials, advice, would help tremendously. I'll take what I can get. I don't need a step by step process to create a site I just want to know the best way to do it using Adobe programs. Thank you to anyone who answers. Your Awesome!

Your graphics will be made in PS or AI. Dreamweaver to mark it up and make it a website You can create layouts in Photoshop, slice them, save as a webpage and be on your way Maybe start with watching something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VD1Ha9aJNqs Can also search online for making a website layout in photoshop/slicing it/etc Good luck!

You can use Illustrator or photoshop to make the graphics for your site. You can also use them to plan out how you want the site to look. Ideally you would code the website using a code editor like BBEdit. But if you don't know HTML/CSS then use Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver has templates, but you can start with a blank page as well.

You can create a website from scratch using dreamweaver. You do not have to use the templates in that program, they are just there in case you do. What you should do is look up dreamweaver tutorials. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/first_website_pt1.html There is one for you.
