How to create the rotating photo effect like this?
-
I always thought you needed several cameras very close to eachother and taking a photo at the same time, but I wonder if there is an easier way to create this effect: Examples: http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzfkr2Dsjk1qdqv28o1_400.gif and http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzobh0L3wo1qbcheyo1_500.gif I can make gifs, and I know I'd need several images of different perspectives, but have they really just got a photo of each angle of the exact same thing? or is there another way? Thanks in advance for any help.

Answer:
We've done photos like this by using multiple cameras on tripods synchronized with a remote shutter release. This website has some cool shots of how they filmed the matrix with multiple cameras.
