How to query with doctrine dql the where in clause?

Java SQL like query help required?

• Dears, I want to search data of Integer type in Derby database stored using LIKE clause. but I am getting the following exception, "java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: No authorized routine named 'LIKE' of type 'FUNCTION' having compatible arguments was found." my confusion is can i search integer data just like string or char data using LIKE clause or not? here is some of code int finalquery = Integer.parseInt(query); results = stmt.executeQuery("select * from Cell where Stock_Number like " + finalquery + ""); any help please

  put single quotes after like you should rewrite your query look like below results = stmt.executeQuery("select * from Cell where Stock_Number like '" + finalquery + "'"); i hope now it's working.
