Is anyone familiar with website hosts?

  • A school is hiring me to design a website for their computer graphics class. They want it to only be accessable for registered users (so I need the option for logins) and students need to be able to upload their homework onto the site. Also each student needs to have their private profile visible only to them where the teacher can post their grades for them to see. I've done a lot of unprofessional work with Tripod but never anything I needed logins or uploaders. In case Tripod doesn't support my spefications, does anyone know any other domain hosts who do? Yahoo maybe? THANKS!

You need professional hosts tripod would not be able suffice it, visit incredos.com and pickup their package and you can design on Linux of windows based hosting so your asp and .net services will be zipping and if you are good with coding incredos.com is the place to be. and if you are not then they should be able to help you possibly it would cost a little more i suppose. My advise is pickup their package and bill it to the school and they are reliable hosts so you would have credentials to sell for your work
