Java Programming: How can I extract data from an online data table?

I'm working on a project in Netbeans IDE (java) and I was wondering if it is possible to take numbers from a data table from a website and then have my program do computations with those numbers. If someone could give me a helpful link that would be great! Here is an example of the type of data I need to extract: http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/splits/_/id/5405/adrian-gonzalez Thanks -Ryan

I do not know much Java, but I understand your question. I would try a PHP script to store it on your server, then use a program to fetch the data, then use what ever Java you know to interpret the information, and take it. Sorry, I am unable to provide a link, but if you know Java, PHP should be a breeze.
