How to make my wap site more useful?

What or where would be the best way to make a web site, ie to get the mosts people to be able to find the site?

  • basically i want to sell refurb, second hand and spares and repair laptops and i want to make a site, i know how to make a site but i dont know the best way of going about, i.e getting it on the internet on its own address or using something to do with google but as you can tell i dont anything about this, i can make a site its just getting on the internet that im not sure on, any help would be useful

Well first you need to find a company where you can host your site they will have some sort of interface where you can test and buy a domain name (eg. mywebsitename.com) look at companies like hentzer or verizon or anything similar (aka ISP or web hosting) i make use of www.afrihost.com after that you may want to read this http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=34397 this will explain and help you to add your site name to the Google database so if someone use Google to search then your site will be added to the result set (if your site met the search keywords)
