How do I make a titled link on a page on my tumblr blog?

so, i'm adding a page to my blog on tumblr, and I want to know how to make a link that appears as a title ex: if i wanted a link to my twitter then there would be a set-through link with just the title 'twitter' and when i clicked on it it would re-direct me. the whole <a href=”link-url“>link-title</a> think is not working.

Its simple, the same page creation menu gives you the option to give it a page title and also to show a link with it. customize theme >> scroll down to PAGES >> add page.
