WDM Capture card HELP!?

Ive got my capture card set up (i think!) My graphics card is a Nvidia 9 series 9800GTX black edition. I plugged 3 jacks (red white yellow) into my computer and 3 others into the other end. I can view my computer completely on my TV. (My TVs hd 1080i if it helps) I can browse internet etc on my TV. But i want to be able to capture my xbox etc. How do i view my TV on my computer? Do i need a programme to do this ? ie Sony Vegas? Someone please help!
