How to start local web business?

How hard is it to start a web design business with just a web design degree and no experience?

  • I have a Bachelor's degree in Web Development, but have no experience in doing it for a living.

  • Answer:

    I started a Web page design company, no programming experience at all. I now have over 200 very happy clients and business is very good. I did this while driving a truck 60 to 70 hours a week also. I no longer drive truck. I still have no programming knowledge. For you, it should not be hard.

Not that hard at all if that's what you really want to do. I personally did a lot of part time work while I built up my web design client base and to be honest some of the best "web designers" I know don't have any qualifications the real key to being a good web designer is to build good looking websites that rank well, that is the benchmark. I would also recommend learning some good SEO skills. Good Luck
