Is A Lazy Image Loading Possible?

C# application loading GRAPHICS IMAGE OF FORM?

• a application in c# microsoft visual studio 2005. it has many forms with labels, command buttons, text boxes, cobo boxes etc. all that works fine. but the loading of the FORMS when the application is start(run) takes time and the images of the buttons and the background appear one after the other A VERY BAD IMPRESSION ON THE user when he sees very thing of a form loading in parts and pieces. Q) i tried to use double buffering(not a secs advantage). What should i do to increase the loading speed without changing the background, used any tweaks, tools, or any way or a control which when used helps to load the whole form at once? I AM A NOOB SO PLEASE BE CLEAR ON YOUR ANSWERS thanku

  it is an especial weakness of c#. and you couldn't omit it easily (as i couldn't). but there is ways to decrease this problem. at first i recommend you have a good attention to the response of c# application when you change a thing in your forms. And Some Tips. 1. use double buffering. 2. don't use Panel, TableLayoutPanel, our other kind of container (because they cause some strange effect in performance (test it) ). 3. try to use pictures instead of any large object. 4. and it is better to use kind of theme and pictures in your forms that help you to hide fliking more. be successful
