How do I build a website?

I have purchased a domain name, and I have fantastic hosting... but I need to build my website now. I currently have cPanel.. how do I build a good website with a very easy way to edit the template? I have tried Joomla and did not like at all. I appreciate all the help I can get! Best answer 10 pts.

Sounds like you need templates. Just do a search for free website templates and then customize one that suits you. Or if you want to build it from scratch, you need an editor. There a really cool free editor that is a lot like dreamweaver called nvu. I've used it in the past and it works really well. You can also try wordpress. It's like joomla ( I don't like joomla either) but much more user friendly. Good Luck.
