What qualifications do I need to be a web designer?

What do I need to do before I get a web designer?

  • Well I wanted to run the website with Apache because if it did get well known I wouldn't want to worry about exceeding the bandwidth and I read that once you go over the amount you paid for then you have to pay. So do I need to let the web designer do all of this or do I do the apache thingy first and then get the web designer to do my website?

    Well most website designers (myself included) prefer to work with certain webhosts and will setup the server for you. Also most good hosts don't have bandwidth limits nowadays. So you shouldn't need to worry about anything technical, you just need to know the details of what you want in your website. well as far as im aware appache dosnt have a bandwith limit on it and if it does just go get whats know as wamp. the only thing that should limit your bandwith is your ISP "internet service provider" or your network its self witch includes routers and network cards. the best thing to do is to get a webmasters opinion on it im sure that they could help with many diffrent sugestions.
