How send an e-mail with background images using HTML. Can someone give workout examples. I use ThunberBird and MS Outlook as e-mail clients. I know HTML but don't know how use with e-mails especially in this case. Even though I tried (in Mozilla ThunderBird) by giving "background" attribute and it's value (using advanced edit in "page color and backgrounds" it didn't work. SO CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS THING. PLEASE GIVE SOME EXAMPLE SCRIPTS. Thank you

Don't. HTML mail is an abomination. Emial is supposed to be plaintext.

use HTML tables, and set the image inside one of them and text and all that. if you don't know how to do HTML tables check out 'W3Schools.com' and go on HTML. also if you go to 'css-tricks.com' and go to the videos section, i believe there is a screencast on sending HTML emails
