How To Download Tamil Fonts?

I am using MS Office 2007, in this I have some problem with Tamil fonts.?

  • I am using MS Office 2007, in this I have some files in Tamil fonts and used it until last week,Now,when I am opening the files I am getting only squares instead of tamil fonts,but in the fonts view box its showing the font name as "LATHA".Kindly guide me to rectify it.

The font file must have been corrupted. Go to your fonts folder and delete the Latha font. Download a fresh copy of Latha font or any other tamil font and place a copy of it in your fonts folder. Restart you computer to make the changes take effect adn you must be good to go. For more information, you can visit the microsoft website http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314960

first download tamil fonts, and put into fonts folder on controlpannel, i think your latha font was crashed so delete that. and download latha font again put into fonts folder you can use now

Get on the net and find who sells the Tamil font set, your pc doesn't have a complete set. If its a rarely used font, people you send docs to in that won't see it that way. Their pc will show it to them in a substitue font. Best to stick with more common fonts that most people have on their pc. For me, I like Calibri.
