Is there a free powerpoint maker that i can get downloaded to my computer via the web?

Use Microsoft's free version of Office. It's by far more compatible with Windows Microsoft Office than any other free product. You use it on line in your web browser. You even get the latest co-authoring feature for free, as well as gigs of free storage and file sharing capabilities. It is fully Mac compatible.
