Shopping cart in Dreamweaver 8?

I am making a website in macromedia dreamweaver 8 and I need to make a shopping cart. There was a template in the program, but there is nothing in it that i know of that makes it functional. i was just wondering if there was any way to actually make it functional without having to buy software.

I use DW8 and don't know of the shopping cart. I've never seen it. It depends on what scripting language you are going to use and this depends on your server. There are some free ones around and your hosting provider may have ZenCart or OzCommerce already available to install. They are both free. www.coffeecup.com has a reasonably priced cart. You need to find out first what your server supports, Unix/Linux( PHP) or is it Windows (ASP/VBScript). Once you've found that out you can then decide on a cart.
