there is a lot of things you could get. like if you wanted best sound editing, you would get one program. best quality, etc... Sony Vegas is the best i know of though.

There is no "full and free" video-editor. The best one I've found so far is Windows Movie Maker, plenty of features but it comes bundled. The best editor that you have to pay for would be Pinnacle studio - it's simple to use but offers many features for the more advanced users.

I've seen a lot of people on YouTube say they use Sony Vegas and I have to say they do produce some pretty awesome videos. As far as full and free go, I'd just try to google it.
