How do you add a picture as a background?

How to add background picture to any window?not desktop picture.?

  • how to add background picture to any window?not desktop picture. suppose I have opened 'my computer',I see all hard disk drives,removable storage etc....I want to add picture to this page..I mean I dnt want the white screen...

    This option u can find only in windows 2000, not in XP right click on white space, and choose "customize this folder", then wizard window will open, from there u can customize as ur wish

Right Click, you will see an icon named "Customize this folder". Click on it. Then chose the tab "Choose picture". Then you can chose any picture for the background. P.S Might not work fo My Computer, My Docs etc but will work for all other folders.

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Customize_folder.htm downlaod this... and paste it in which ever window u want to customize.. then jus click it nd follow... hope it helps!!
