Making a Website From Nothing, Need Professional Help!?

I think you are getting way ahead of yourself.. it would take me as a professional web designer 5 to 7 days to complete from scratch a 5 page basic html website You dont know anything about website design so you would have at least 6 months of full time studying to do first ( its taken me 5 years to get to a professional level ) as for the advertising, it all sounds very easy to do, but with everything that sounds easy it rarely is.. setting up adds is relevantly simple.. getting visitors to your site to click on those adds is a little more tricky..

One advice, right now: stop dreaming and go take a cold shower (a VERY cold one)... Taking your questions in order: 1. ... in 5 days... It takes a minimum of two to three YEARS to get "fluent" in web development. It will take you more than 5 days just to learn the VERY BASIC of HTML, the "minimum" skill you need to make a website. To that, you will need to learn CSS, Javascript, then server-side languages (ie Php) and databases (ie mysql). Add to that that a website is also a "visual" item: you need art and good graphics. Even if you are gifted in art, it will take you a fair bit of time to learn some programs such as Photoshop. 2. ... a website that will bring money ... Let me laugh (sorry). Websites that make money are those who sell a product or a service (yes, "sex" is a "service" as well - and a good source of income! Signs of times). Anything else DOES NOT MAKE MONEY! To make money, a site needs a LOT of visitors, and, to get many visitors, you need advertising, and not only on the web! And that is a costly exercise... 3. ... with advertisements ... Biggest bull*** around. You do NOT make money with ads (style adsense): you get 1$ for 1000 clicks, and to get 1000 clicks, you need 25000 visitors. You do the maths. IF you have 25,000 visitors and sell a 1$ product, you have a chance to make 25$ (1/1000). Better than ads! 4. ... how much does it cost?... As little as nothing, as much as a few millions! Making the site is "easy" and "cheap". Making it SUCCESSFUL is the expensive bit... 5. ... servers ... You can buy a domain for $10/year, and a good server for $20-$50/year. No big deal there. 6. ... my listing on top of search engines ... Another misconception: being on the first page of SEs is nice, but that does not mean your site will have visits! What MAKE a website successful is NOT the SEOs, but, again, ADVERTISING. Improving your "ranking" through SEOs is a waste of time ... and money! (You will only have "some" ranking when your site will get OVER 100,000 visitors a month. At that stage, who gives a damn about ranking?). 7. co-founder No, thanks! Too many dreamers around. I have drastically reduced developping sites. I only do so IF the start-up cash is available AND that the site has a chance of making money! This means, unfortunately, from 1000 requests a year, 1 or two accepted. The result? Since I changed to that approach, every site I have developed made several 1000's in the first month after launch!

Its nice to know that your giving the effort to earn money by utilizing the internet. As most of them already shared, It's quite a lot of work and time consuming as well. Not only will you need the money to back it up but you also have to have the determination to continuously work on it. The services, costs and charges vary depending on the extent of what you want displayed and available on the site. Since you have 5 days to get this done, why not start with the basics first. Work on creating a simple website from html, css and php. You can use free website creators. some already offer free domain. You can already incorporate, bring in money from a simple site. So work on a small simple website that will not drain you for now. You can expand your options and improve everything once you learn and do the basics. Hope this helps.
