How do I create one of those old websites?

:L I don't know why you'd want a website as crappy looking as those, and most modern websites like facebook aren't made from templates, they're made in PHP and CSS 3.0. I would recommend checking out thenewboston on Youtube, he has some epic tutorials on HTML and CSS, it teaches you step by step how to build a website with graphics and everything.

You need to learn to write your html, to display the way you want it,...Which means you need to understand enough about the tags, to know which ones to use, The same applys to PHP and Css,..there are templates available for PHP too, but if you dont't want to use templates you need to learn to write the code,...A help ful trick, is right click your mouse, and view the html code, source,..you can copy it too, then edit it to suit your needs,... Both of my sites are written with out templates, one mostly useing the Dos editer, the other, useing notepad http://www.garryspages.webs.com The forum though I just used the PHP template, prosilver , because I don't know enough about PHP, however as I learn, I edit it useing note pad.

That's the problem. If you don't know how to program, all programs to make websites without coding use templates. I know it's annoying, but learning how to make websites is actually pretty easy. I could make a simple one like that for you if you want! Just send me a message with what you are thinking of doing.

Creating templates is a bit of work... if you'd rather put up sites like those, all you need is notepad and basic html. Follow this tutorial: http://www.htmlbasix.com/htmlbasics.shtml I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be creating similar pages after reading through those directions.

tht is pretty good. the best i can tell you, is to get a website hosting website, and then download NVU. NVU just lets you make a website. ithought it was easy. there are a lot more programs like nvu out there though. i dis tht for my science fair thing. so yeah.
