Is there a blackberry application?

How can I sync my ical to my blackberry without buying an application?

  • I have a mac and I use iCal for ALL of my calendar items. I also have a BlackBerry that I keep on me at all times. I need a way to have my iCal and BlackBerry in sync at all times. Is there a way to make it automatically update through the web? I have tried pushing events from iCal to gCal and then doing a Google Sync from gCal to my BlackBerry, but unfortunately gCal doesn't update more than once every few days, which is no help if I'm in a meeting and can't remember what time an appointment is that I entered that morning. Please please please tell me there is a way for me to get this to work without having to purchase any extra software!

  • Answer:

First, Pair your mac and your blackberry via Bluetooth (if you don't know how, refer to the blackberry manual). Then, open the stock app called iSync, it should easily be found with a spotlight search. Once iSync starts, open the Devices drop down menu, select new device, and your blackberry should show up in the list. Choose it, and the rest is pretty easy to figure out, just choose what you want to sync.
