Can you put verizon service on a Palm Centro designed for ATandT?

I have a palm centro now but am looking at the palm pixi plus for verizon?

• So I was wondering if anyone had the palm centro and then got a palm pixi plus from verizon? I love my palm centro but i really want a new phone and I was looking at the palm pixi because it is similar in size to the centro! a lot of people complain about the size of keys on them but i honestly like the size of the keys on the centro! and i do not have internet for my phone now but i know i would have to get it for the pixi! just wondering what your thoughts were on the pixi with the internet and stuff! thanks in advanced!

  The Palm Pixi is nothing at all like the Palm Centro. In my opinion the Pixi improves on the Centro in nearly every way, but if you're used to the "feel" of the Centro beware that the Pixi is much, much different. I really like the Pixi and think it is a great phone, for a great price, on Verizon Wireless.
