What is wrong with my blackberry storm?

• Its the first blackberry storm..My cousin was tryna figure out my password because it was on lock and she couldn't figure it out..she tryed 8 times and then gave it too me it said type in blackberry so i typed it in..then it said all information will be deleted or something like that...so i took out the battery then put it back in and a red light showed for like 10 seconds then it cut off and i tryed to turn the phone back on but it wouldnt turn on..whats the problem??

  Sadly, you have fallen victim to your Blackberry's security system. Once the password is entered wrong enough times, the phone will do it's best to protect the owner (as it thinks that the phone is stolen and being hacked) by erasing all of their data. Unfortunately, you possibly interrupted the phone in the process of resetting. You're best bet is plug the phone into your computer, and open 'Blackberry Desktop Manager' (install it if you don't have it), and let the phone reinstall all of it's software. Sadly, unless you previously backed up your data on the phone, you have to start from scratch.
