Which Blackberry apps work with only Wi-fi?

I just bought a blackberry curve 8900 today, and I noticed that the facebook app, and the blackberry messenger, etc. doesn't work without having the data plan. Is there a website where they have apps for blackberry's that work without having to buy the data plan?

Really? Thats a scam. Apps shouldn't care if its 3g, edge or wifi. I would get a refund. (and get a nokia?)
