How to use internal storage android?

What is wrong with my android?

• I have a Creative Zen Touch 2 that runs Android 2.2.1 and I got it 8 days ago. It has been working pretty well and I've downloaded a lot of apps but there is still 2 gigabytes left of internal storage and 4 gigabytes left on the sd card (external storage). But today, it crashed and restarted (which it does on a daily basis so I figured it would go back to normal) but instead of working normally, it was on the start screen and kept restarting and crashing for about half an hour. Then I held down the reset button and it shut off. I turned it back on to find that all of my settings had been resetted to default, but it was okay because I still had all of my apps. Then it crashed again. And now it keeps going to the lock screen. Then I unlock it, it says "use EX Launcher (with a rainbow 4 leaf clover) or Launcher (with android guy in a house)". I installed EX Launcher today after uninstalling it a while ago because I thought I didnt want it but because I needed more room to add shortcuts I reinstalled it. This tablet doesnt have the android market so I have to download it from online sites and I found one early on that I just use to download all of my apps, and I downloaded a anti-virus app that scanned all of the apps after downloading them and said they were all safe. I did not root my device so that is outruled. Is it possible to brick your android device even if you dont root it? I dont think I got a virus because the site seems pretty reliable and it has all of the apps that the android market has. The address is androiddev.orkitra.com. I have about 50 apps total on my Zen Touch 2. I pushed the reset button and it is off until I get a reply on what to do. Please help!
