CINGULAR PALM TREO-- ""your phone cannot be used with this sim card."?

i recently broke my phone so i found my old palm treo and put in my sim card but it says "your phone cannot be used with this sim card." i took it to Att and they said theres something wrong with the phone, but it works like a charm. what do i do? does it have something to do with att and cingular switched? help =(

Answer:
All sims are not the same you probably have the new 3g sim what you can do is but older 64k sim but not blue one 3g and it will work You can get older style sims off ebay. Just don't buy real old 8k sims as they won't work.
