How can I unlock a keyboard on a blackberry?

Blackberry Curve 8530 "Lock Key" change?

I updated my Blackberry software this morning and came to find that a bunch of tiny things have changed, the most annoying of which is the lock feature. First of all, there is no button in the menu to lock the keypad, but I always just held the *A button to lock it. To unlock the keypad, I used to press *A and then the Send button... But now when I hold *A, it goes into standby mode and I have to press the mute button to unlock the keyboard. Does anyone know of a way to go back to pressing *A + Send to unlock my keyboard? Any help is much appreciated!
Answer:

Unfortunately i don't see any way to change it as key a,q, w are assigned and locked keys. Cannot find a way around it. Sorry, hope someone els knows answer to that.
