Which texting app is the best?

OK...so I have an iPhone 3GS and I heard that there's apps that you could use for free unlimited texting. I currently have "TextFree" and in my opinion, it's good, but I can't send pics. Can somebody name me other apps that are like this plus multimedia messaging? BQ: Do these apps REALLY work?

Answer:
Try "Text Now" the same thing as textfree except it allows picture messaging. BQ: yes they do. I've been using "textfree" for over a year now with no major problems.
