How to get msn on my blackberry curve 8520?

How can I get my Blackberry Curve 8520 to work again after showing a message saying "Reload Software: 552"?

I downloaded some apps of my Blackberry Curve 8520, and rebooted it - however, it did not return to the home screen as it normally does, and it's now showing a white screen with the message "Reload Software: 552" on it. I've tried pulling the battery out, but obviously that has not worked, i tried by blackberry desktop manager to reload latest os software then it is showing that retry you need to enter the password on blackberry mobile and I'm completely stuck

Go online and find a program called Blackberry Swiss Army Knife. Download it and run it. Once it opens, you should remove and replace the battery on the Blackberry, then plug the device into you computer's USB port. Choose "connect" and then "wipe device". It will take a few minutes, but when it is done, you will have a Blackberry with NO OPERATING SOFTWARE. Next you will need to run it on BBDM and choose "update". The BBDM softwqare will go and reload the OS to the Blackberry. It will restore, but you will not have your contacts or other user data.
