Google calendar, google sync and blackberry?

• I keep all my appointments on my blackberry calendar and have google sync set up to sync my appointments to my google calendar (and vice versa). My blackberry deletes appointments after a couple weeks though so when my blackberry syncs to my google calendar, it also deletes old appointments from my google calendar. I'm wondering if there's a way to either get my blackberry NOT to delete old appointments or get it to sync to my google calendar withOUT deleting old appointments from the google calendar. Any suggestions?

  Your Blackberry has a calendar option called "Keep Appointments" and you can control the duration of stored appointments on your phone. The default setting is 15 days. You can access the option by going to your calendar application and selecting the Blackberry logo button to bring up the menu and select options. Go to General option and look for "Keep Appointments", you have five choices; 15 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, or forever.
