Is the PSP 2000 that bad?

Will it be possible to obtain a PSP 2000 in three years?

• I'm fifteen and I really want to have a PSP. But I have been unable to get one so far. (That's not entierly true but that is a whole story that is unneeded to answer my question.) So, I'm wondering if I'll be able to get one when I'm 18 and moved out. But have CFW on it is a must for me (if ya dont know what that is, i HIGHLY suggest you get it if you have a psp, but regardless, it can only be done on psp 1000, 2000, and 3000.) Anyway: I don't want a 1000 cuz they feel weird, and either a 2000 or 3000 will be fine with me assuming the 3000 can get permanent cfw on them ( which is being worked on) ok, if you know what im talking about great. if you dont, just read the bottom line here: In three years, will it be possible to obtain a BRAND NEW STILL IN THE BOX psp 2000 or 3000, both of which were released i think a year or two, maybe even three ago. obtaining a used one will of course be possible for many years to come, but again, in three years, a brand new unopened psp 2000. is it possible? id probably have to order online, but its worth it if i can obtain a unopened brand new one. really sorry to ramble . . .

  It's obviously hard to know for sure, but I would imagine you'll have no problem finding a new PSP 3000 three years from now. You'll probably have to pay an arm and a leg, but check Amazon.com when you're 18. I've purchased older models of iPods in brand new condition a number of times from Amazon. Good luck.
