How to charge dead psp with usb?

  • my psp's battery is out of charge so my psp wont turn on at all. i only have a usb charger and i cant charge it since i have to turn the psp on and go to usb connection so it charges. is there a way around this?

  • Answer:

ouch. hmm well how dead is it? you can try takeing out the battery and putting back in for maybe a quick second of power to then quickly plug into your computer. Also you can put the battery in the fridge ive heard it gives them a bit of power but ive never tried so im not sure. once you get it on for a sec and plug it in the computer should then give it power untill you put it in charge mode. hope you get it working.

yes there is but its risky. ok you can modify the psp so it would charge witha usb. i know what you might be saying,"doesnt it already have that?" well yes it does but thats only when its in USB CONNECTION. see this mod can charge your psp without having to connect it to the computer. i highly recommend not doing this cuz if this is your first time doing a "hard mod" (hardware modification) then your most likely going to screw up your motherboard and your psp wont be able to turn on anymore. but if you do have experience. heres the link to the tutorial http://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,13468.0.html
