Difference between ipod touch generations?

  • I am looking on ebay at different Ipod touch's and I noticed that the Ipod Touch 1st generation is like $50 cheaper then the ipod touch 2nd generation. What does the Ipod touch 2nd generation have that the ipod touch 1st generation does not have? Is it really worth paying an extra $50 or more? Thanks in advance!!

  • Answer:

The higher the generations, the more stuff it has. I have a 3rd generation without a camera and the 4th generation has one and some other stuff that mine doesn't have

Other answers

The differences between the first and second generation are, the second generation has better hardware meaning more ram, faster processor etc... The second generation is able to upgrade to iOS 4 while the first generation isn't. The second generation also has a speaker so you could hear sounds without using headphones. Overall the second generation is worth the extra $50, you get a better experience with it.
