Is the HP iPAQ Pocket PC's actually small computers?
-
This question is probably confusing so I will explain it as best as I can. I am looking for something that is literally a computer that fits in your pocket. I am looking for something that has functions such as connecting to the internet either by WiFi, BLUETOOTH or 3G connection points. I am looking for something that can allow me to use something similar to Windows Word and is compatible to be transferred later on, onto my computer. I am looking for something that is not a mobile phone and is only a pocket sized computer. I came across this item called a HP iPAQ Pocket PC and I am not sure if it is what I am looking for. There are other items similar and I have looked through their credentials to see if they fit into what I am looking for but still I am not so sure. Can any one help me on this matter and suggest what would be the best thing to buy for what I want in a pocket pc?

Answer:
The HP iPaq Pocket PC is a small computer, however it if very outdated. The one I had was about the size of a Garmin, but thicker. It ran Windows XP, and was useful, but the technology is now dated. I know you are saying you are looking for something that isn't a mobile phone, but it sounds like a smartphone would suit you well. The Dell Streak, for instance, has a 5 inch screen, can still fit in your pocket, and runs android, which has apps that will allow you to make word documents and fits all of your other credentials. I hope this helps.

All smart phones are small computers. Easy enough. If you don't want a phone, and it has to fit in your pocket, then you are looking for something like the Samsung Galaxy Tab or other Android tablet. They can do all the things you ask, and more.
