Need help with my 8G Apple Itouch PLEASE!!! Lost Firmware!?

  • Hi. I Have an 8G Apple Itouch. I was stupid and when these first came out I thought it would be cool to hijack it like everyone else. I don't really feel that way anymore. I've made some major life changes and trying to better myself so I uninstalled the hijacked firmware. Now I have no firmware. I just want to pay for apps and music and movies through Itunes and be a better person and now I don't know how to get the original firmware back on it. Someone please help me. Thank you so much for your responses (Also, Itunes will not even reckognize that the Itouch is connected as a device. I figured I could install the latest firmware through Itunes but I can't apparently)

    on ur ipod and on your computer you can restore it and when u do that it puts the software back like u just got it and if that doesnt work try bring it to an apple store and just explaining ur problem to them and maybe they can restore it for 4
