How to receive MMS on BlackBerry?

  • Alright, so i got a new phone last week (blackberry curve 3g) and i cant receive pictures. The phone i had before it was a normal slide phone that always received and sent pictures fine, but i got the blackberry just to upgrade my phone but now i can never receive pictures. I have the same number as my old phone and the same monthly plan + social network add on so i dont see why i cant receive any pictures , i can receive normal texts and my contacts say they sent me pictures but i never reveive them or dont know how to open them, please help?

    There is a good chance you do not have the proper package to send/recv the mms. With some Blackberry phones like the pearl devices, you can only send and recv mms if you have the BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) applied to your account. It also relies on your service provider as to if they allow that function on that device.
