Which psp should I get? 1000 or 3000?

I want to get a psp for christmas. I already have a ps3 but i want to play some old games like resistance retribution, medal of honor heroes 1 and 2, socom etc. I also want to be able to watch movies and listen to songs. I can get a refurbished psp 1000 for $50 and a refurbished psp 3000 for $80. The 1000 is better for my budget so I can buy games and the size doesnt matter. Which psp do you prefer and why? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Well for 1, the PSP 1000 is able to be jailbroken while 3000 is not. But i would choose the 3000 because it's screen is much better and it is much lighter.
