Does Cydia slow down my iPod touch?

Ipod Touch Cydia Help?

Ok so i just jailbroken my Ipod Touch 5.0.1 now when i go to cydia and go to sources an add a source and install the repo like for example imodgame.appspot and download a mod and install it i always need to reboot my Ipod Touch and heres the main problem when i boot my Ipod Touch it is stuck in the Apple Logo and i have waited 15-20mins and its still stuck in the Apple Logo i fixed the Apple Logo Stuck Problem and Restored my Ipod Touch but it always gets Stuck in the apple logo when i install something from Cydia/Sources like what i explained above how can i fix this? BTW my Ipod Touch jailbreak is tethered if that helps...

You should really google what a tethered jailbreak means :| If you used redsn0w to jailbreak: Connect your iPod to your pc Run redsn0w Click on extras Click on just boot tethered And follow the instructions If you used snowbreeze to jailbreak: Connect iPod Run iBooty v2.3 Select your device Click start Follow instructions Voila!
