Which is the best sony psp model?

I'm in the market for a brand new Sony PSP; what model would you suggest getting? And...?

• ...what accessories/games, etc. I have heard that the newest model 3000 is probably not going to be a good buy, as the screen has some defects direct from the factory. I am more interested in watching videos from the Internet and from my Tivo DVR, but am also interested in some lite gaming. So, I guess that I should get the 2000 model, but which one? I would like to get a "kit" that comes with a game and possibly a movie, with a memory card, etc. What other accessories should I get? Whats a good case? How about a screen protector, etc. Thanks
