Mobile phone dilemma?

New cell phone dilemma? Please help.?

• Okay, i lost a phone and my 2 yr contract wont be over until june 2011. But i want a new phone. So can we add a new line and cancel my phone now. Would that save me money? We're on a 3 line deal and all of us bought our phones on the same day so no upgrades. Would the fee for canceling my phone be expensive? and would just adding a new line to get a new phone help in anyway? ANY TYPE OF HELP WOULD BE USEFUL. thanks!

  first and foremost do yu have insurance for lost/stolen phone. try calling and saying it was and see if they will send a replacement. my grandmother had the same situation and after going over everything we had a few options 1: cancel the acct add new one but you will be charged a cancellation fee (up to $250) 2: buy a phone outright (thru carrier $$$ or ebay/craigslist/website) 3: (this is what we decided on) because we already have a family plan and had room for another line we just added a line (giving you a new phone @ a new contract price) and then kept the number open as it's a wooping $10/mo extra
