Why is my screen resolution messed up?

Changing screen messed up my HTC EVO 4g screen Resolution?

  • I had problems with my HTC EVO 4g screen responding to touch and took it to sprint store. They changed the screen and that problem was fixed. However it came with a resolution problem. The resolution seems to be lacking colors or something it doesnt show clear pictures any more. it seems like when u have only 24 colors on a pc screen. How can I correct this without going back to the store? I wanna avoid that if possible since i really need my phone to be working on weekdays Thanks alot

    Go to a DIFFERENT store. It sounds like the tech that installed the screen didn't align the flex cable correctly. If that's the case, the screen could light up, but not get the color data correctly. Or it could just be a bad screen. It happens. Don't be too hard on the tech. He's probably just a kid and doesn't have years of experience working on phones. There are pretty few of us with that kind of background

Taking it back would be the only option.Take it to them and tell them the problem and if they can not fix it,then ask them if you can get a new phone
