Who has the best apps market, Google or Blackberry?

  • I am trying to decide whether to buy a Android based phone or a Blackberry and the decision might come down to who offers the best apps (applications) on their phones. So I am wondering who has the best apps. Thanks

    Neither! Because their app store is too young. Out of the two, I would say Google. But it is still mediocre. Out of the three, Apple!

Google/Android. There is barely a Blackberry market compared to Android's Market. Yes, Apple has more apps, but the iPhone also had a two-year jump on the Android phones (and even then, only one Android phone, the HTC Dream/G1 was the only device available). Even with just the one device, though, the Android market grew very rapidly. It's estimated that the market now has nearly 40,000 items available for the Android phones. I doubt the Blackberry is even close to that.
