Is the Blackberry curve 8530 a good phone?

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8530 with MetroPCS, i am concidering switching to i-phone 4? is this a good idea?

    u have to be descriptive on the features you want. the iphone has more apps, cheaper too, more trendy.the blackberry, more ease of use, more secure-emails,messenger.easy to type and use of apps and pdfs. if you are more business type-get the bb..so it all comes down to what you want from the device
