Is BlackBerry a good investment?

If I have a blackberry phone, would it be good to get a Blackberry Table aswell?

• I'm thinking of getting a Blackberry Tablet or an iPad2. The thing is, I have a Blackberry 8520 with the BIS and all that. Now if I have the BIS on my phone, will I also have it on the Tablets, or does Blackberry provide BIS for the Tablet as well?? LIke in SA we pay R60 per month for BIS on your phone, will it be the same for the Tablet? The main reason I want one of these devices is for University use, as in making notes in class, uploading textbooks(I get them in PDF and the others are mostly available online). I know the iPad is bigger, but how is the typing on either and which one is less straining on your eyes

  the playbook will connect to your blackberry phone through a bluetooth "bridge" (free app in appworld) and you will be able to view your email, contacts, etc on you tablet. no additional cost for the tablet because it does not connect directly to you email, it will pull it from your phone. this means that your phone and tablet have to stay close to each other (bluetooth range). the playbook is easy to type on. i use it almost exclusively for my typing and web browsing. the screen resolution is good and i do not feel any noticeable eye strain. good luck with your decision
