Blackberry Pearl from AT&T?

Switch my blackberry pearl to the flip blackberry pearl?

• Under the Verizon phone insurance, can i switch my blackberry pearl to the flip blackberry pearl? would i just have to pay the $50 or the full retail price? its almost the same phone. My pearl has been acting up since day 1 almost a year ago and ive tried to get it fixed but i guess "all" blackberry pearls have the problems mine does (automatically deleting messages and also not recieving messages and blocking phone calls and crap) do u think Verizon would let me switch phones since my phone is covered and i hate hate hate mine?

  Nope, they're not going to. Your insurance covers a Blackberry Pearl and unless they go out of stock anytime soon, which I doubt will happen, your only going to get another BB Pearl if your current one breaks. And even then, they're not going to give you a brand new model on the market by any means. If you really want the Apex when it comes out, you're going to have to pony up for full retail unless you're above a $49.99 price plan and have fulfilled a year on your contract...then you may be able to do an Early Upgrade but you wouldn't be able to utilize any NE2 credits you have. Also, the flip might not be any better since it'd be a new device and would have software bugs early on.
